Our cellar

The beautiful story

The history of the Cave Coopérative de Moussac goes back to 1928.

a cellar of towers

When the three cooperatives joined forces in 2003, the name of the new entity came naturally: Cellier des Trois Tours, since each village has its own. Thanks to the 745 hectares of vines spread around the Gardon river, the 61 member winemakers offer a wide range of crus representative of the diversity of the terroirs. The cellar, opened in 2017 in Moussac, is a veritable showcase for Duché d’Uzès PDO wines.

a cooperative cellar

The story, however, began in 1928 with the first cooperative winery in Brignon, followed by Boucoiran, which joined forces in 1988. Moussac did not join until much later, in 2003. As the years went by, production increased and technology required more space, better adapted equipment and improved visibility. 2017 marks the consolidation of the 3 wineries. The Moussac cooperative cellar will be equipped to optimize production, and will henceforth be known as the Cave coopérative des Celliers des 3 tours.
